September 4, 2014 – (Cleves, OH) The Swarm will be humming in Taylor High School’s brand new Yellow Jacket Stadium Friday night, as Taylor High’s football team challenges Clark Montessori in the inaugural game on their new turf.
As part of a massive undertaking to support and encourage community athletics, the new stadium provides students and spectators with a first class experience for football and soccer, and will allow the high school band more time to practice on the competition field.
This experience is enhanced by the presence of their OES scoreboard. Taylor High elected to have white LED electronic displays for virtually everything, ensuring the entire crowd gets a bright, clear view. The scoreboard’s pro-level quality complements the NFL turf (which was lifted from the Superdome and still bears the Allstate logos from the Sugarlbowl). Together with new bleachers for almost 2,500 enthusiastic fans, these elements make Taylor High School Stadium the place to be.
The stadium was made possible by a combination of community grassroots fundraising and a $200,000 grant from the Cincinnati Bengals, the NFL, and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC). In fact, several NFL players are expected to be in attendance to show their support at Friday night’s game.
Good luck Yellow Jackets!
